The Zanu PF Harare Province is holding the fourth interdistrict meeting at Dzivarasikwa Stadium to provide conference feedback to more than 24 000 party supporters and affiliate organisations.
Among those in attendance are Zanu PF Secretary for Education, Research, and Ideology, Cde Charles Tawengwa; Secretary for War Veterans, Cde Douglas Mahiya; Politburo member Cde Omega Hungwe; Zanu PF Women’s League Secretary for External Affairs, Cde Betty Kaseke; Deputy Secretary for Economic Affairs, Cde Andy Mlanga, and Zanu PF Provincial Chairman, Cde Godwills Masimirembwa.

Newly co-opted Central Committee members Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei and Cde Takawira Mashonganyika are also attending as they are being introduced.
In an interview, Cde Masimirembwa said the interdistrict meetings are in line with the party Constitution.
“After attending our annual conference, we need to provide feedback on the outcome of the conference. During our conference in Mutare, we came up with resolutions that will guide the party until the next conference. So we are taking the resolutions made at the conference to party members,” said Cde Masimirembwa.
He also said the conference is a platform for the grassroots to express their hopes and aspirations to the leadership.
