Veteran radio and television personality Tichafa Matambanadzo has joined ZiFM Stereo, a leading urban radio station in the land.
Matambanadzo who is more popularly known as Tich Mataz co-hosts the ZiSaturday Breakfast from 6 to 10AM with Tony Friday. On Sunday night he will host a weekend round up from 9PM to midnight.
Kelvin Jakachira, Head of News and Current Affairs of AB Communications under which ZiFM Stereo falls, took to Facebook and announced the new entrants.

“Bring back the Midas Touch and the Tony Friday groove back to back from 06:00-10:00hrs — listening to ZiFM Stereo,” he wrote.
Mataz said he was excited to be on radio and he will be looking forward to giving the Midas Touch to his avid followers.
“I’ve worked with some of the people at ZiFM and I can say it’s only exciting for me to be on air. I’m first and foremost a radio presenter and DJ who has the Midas Touch for my enthusiastic listeners,” said Mataz.
He said he was in the final stages of completing his contract with ZiFM but will be on air as that process is going on.
“Next week there’ll be a proper schedule that will show what I’ll be doing. In the meantime when I’m on air, we’re still finalising one or two things with the contract.”—Gemnation/Showbiz Reporter
