TM PnP announced today that Gwarega Mangozhe will be joining the executive management team as its Chief Operating Officer.
Gwarega, a Zimbabwean national, brings with him a wealth of retail experience, having led the South African Consumer Goods Council for 10 years, and latterly as Clicks Head of Africa.
Gwarega is a Chartered Accountant and completed his tertiary education at the University of Cape Town, after completing his schooling at St Augustine’s in Zimbabwe.
The Board and shareholders of TM PnP said that Gwarega’s experience and capability were particularly important at a time when TM PnP was poised for further investment in various areas of its business.
This follows a strong trading performance through the back end of 2025.The company’s executive team has been strongly focused on ensuring strong price competitiveness in a very challenging market.
TM PnP will be investing further in its various e-commerce initiatives, including click n collect, home delivery, and a more seamless engagement with diaspora-based customers.
Customer loyalty will be another focus and investment area, strengthening engagement with customers, increasing the value added financial services offering, and introducing other targeted products to customers at competitive prices.
