TONDE NOT GIVING UP

Sports Reporter

TONDERAI Ndiraya says the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title race is still wide open.

The Dynamos gaffer pointed out that there were still many games to play and the eight-point gap between his team and FC Platinum could disappear quickly.

The Glamour Boys are now level on points with Chicken Inn following their 2-0 win over Bulawayo Chiefs on Sunday.

“I think it’s still game on, it’s not over yet,” said Ndiraya. “There are still many games to play, so we will keep fighting.

“I hope we keep on the same path going up the table and see what happens at the end of the season.

“But, the race is still very much on because all teams still have to play a lot of games.

“We have to see how we are all going to navigate through that terrain, but I’m happy that we are coming right again.

“Hopefully, we can keep fighting to get points as we go forward.”

DeMbare are now on 42 points from 12 wins, six draws and five losses.

FC Platinum remain favourites for the title.

Norman Mapeza’s men have been firing on all cylinders and are yet to concede a goal in 10 league matches.

They have won nine of their last 10 games.

The only draw came in their goalless stalemate against the Glamour Boys.
