Tony D, Nasty Trix make a comeback

Entertainment Correspondent
LONG forgotten rapper, Nasty Tricks and hip-hop musician, Tony D recently teamed up and unleashed two single tracks in a move that looks set to revive the former’s waning music career. The tracks, Chamupidigori and Gogogoi features Nasty Tricks, real name, Trust Dojiwe and were recorded and mastered at Crossline Studios. The rare combination is end of this month scheduled to commence live shows across the country to popularise
their singles which are currently receiving rave reviews on local radio stations.

The fine marriage between Zim-dancehall and hip-hop is felt on the tracks with the silky-voiced Tony D and husky-voiced Nasty Tricks doing the magic making the tracks masterpieces and potential hits.

Nasty Tricks is not new in collaborations after he a few years back partnered Zimbabwe’s arguably number one rapper Maskiri in the track Mwari Ngaakoreswe.
The two singles will no doubt reignite Nasty’s lost touch.
He sunk into oblivion soon after the collaboration and is back with a bang.

Tony D also takes the opportunity to reach out and lure hip-hop fans through diversifying and blending the hardcore dancehall genre with some hip hop touch.
The Gweru-born artiste rose to stardom with some fine tracks such as Ambulance, Chimoko, Taxi driver, Nguva yasvika and Never Doubt.
His last released two singles Waenda and Ndipeiwo mukana.
