The HCM Festival, which is set for December 4 in the Large City Hall carpark, is expected to be one of the biggest events in Bulawayo.
The organisers have lined up a rich cast of twelve artistes, arguably the largest and best collection of artistes to be gathered by any local promoter to perform on one night in the city.
The mega show has a lineup for the ages with show organisers, DTL Records having snagged the much-loved trio of local stars; Winky D, FAB G and Jah Signal, along with top spinners DJ Liz, DJ Nospa, DJ Mzoe, and DJ Yona.
Top South African artistes; DJ Tira, Dladla Mhlunqisi, Amaroto and Master KG will headline the mega show.
An impressive concert is expected given the popularity of the lineup DTL Records pulled some of the finest A-List music artistes from Zimbabwe and South Africa, to perform for the enjoyment of Bulawayo’s insatiable music lovers.
The fans will naturally be riotous, enthusiastically gobbling the performances and loving every minute of the tunes from the various artistes lined up by DTL Records for the day with artistes expected to begin easing their fans from 1pm.
The show will be opened with performances from popular DJ acts whose deliveries will be pointers to the good vibes that will come from the bigger stars later on.
With hour after hour of energy-sapping performances, the audience should love each minute whenever any one of these acts is on stage.
The performances by DJ Tira, Master KG, Dladla Mshunqisi, Amaroto, Winky D, Jah Signal and Fab G should be as electrifying as their passion and energy.
Legendary dancehall maestro, Winky D could give the visitors from down South a very strong run for their money and bring the roof literally crashing down with the usually energetic performances that get both the young and old singing along with him. Winky D is one of those artistes with a connection with both generations.
DTL Records’ Dee Nosh, born Kudzai Madondo, promised that the event “will be the much-expected icing on the cake as it will be the talk of the town for some time to come”.
