Toures loses brother

ABDIDJAN. — Ivorian duo of Yaya Toure and Kolo Toure are mourning the passing of their younger brother Ibrahim Toure.
They learnt of the death after their 2-1 defeat to Colombia on Thursday. It was confirmed by the Ivorian FA yesterday morning in a statement that read:

“Kolo and Yaya Toure just learnt about the death of their young brother, Toure Oyala Ibrahim.  The entire Ivorian delegation want to show their support to the players in this difficult period.”

“The President of the Ivorian FA and the Committee Executive announce to the Ivorian Football family the death of M.Toure Oyala Ibrahim, the younger brother of Toure Kolo Abib and Toure Yaya Gnegneri, which happened on the 19th of June in Manchester (England).”

“In this painful circumstance, the players of the Ivory Coast national team as well as all of the delegation here in Brazil, express their sympathy for the Toure brothers and members of their family.” — Soccernet.
