Trevor Dongo shines at CellOne gig

Dressed in designer T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans, the talented urban groover whipped fans into a frenzy when he performed some of his chart toppers.
When he took to the stage, Trevor needed no introduction since the crowd was familiar with his music and in turn the slim built singer did not disappoint.
He belted out “Nerunako” off the album “Ruvarashe”, much to the delight of fans. When he left the stage fans cried for more and Tich Mataz, the popular radio presenter who was one of the emcees, asked Trevor to perform another song.
Speaking backstage, Trevor said he was happy to be part of the gig, which saw several winners walking away with fabulous prizes among them Jephias Shava, who won an LG 42-inch LCD television, Muhlanga Zandisiwe won a galaxy tab for coming second while Rogers Nhongo scooped a laptop. Other winners included Fortune Mahoso, Douglas Rundofa, Oman Valley and Lynch Chisango.
Besides the draw, George Chiraya of CellOne gave foodstuffs worth thousands of dollars to Owen Renias Orphans Support in Granary Park.
“We know that it is important to look after orphans and widows just like what the Holy Bible says in James 1 verse 27. This is what we learn at our church,” Chiraya, who is a member of Apostolic Faith (Mugodhi) said.
Renias Mudzimbabwe, the founder and chairman of the orphanage, was happy to receive the foodstuffs and urged other companies to look after the less privileged.
