The outspoken coach left Gibbo a happy man after his charges registered their 14th win with a goal each from Tawanda Muyendi and Richard Kawondera guaranteeing them full points.
Yuna-Yuna got their goal from a spot kick but the damage was already been done and the defeat has further dented Masvingo’s hopes of a return into the Premiership as they now trail log leaders Hippo Valley by 14 points.
Triangle have been in devastating form recently registering back to back wins including a 9-0 demolition of Chivhu Stars and marched on with another crucial victory against Masvingo and Ntini is confident of dislodging Hippo Valley from the summit.
“It was a big game and they gave us a lot of problems. We were more experienced and tactically we were superior to them as we forced them to concede silly mistakes which we capitalised on,” said Ntini.
Triangle is now home to some of former Premiership players like ex Shooting Stars midfielder Muchineripi Mu-neri, former Eagles skipper Courage Denias, Tinei Meda who played for CAPS United and defender William Mapfumo who was in Dynamos’ 2008 Champions League squad.
“We are focusing on each game as it comes and we have to put our act together and win our matches.
“In my opinion we have an upper hand against other title chasing teams because we had played them at their backyards and its now their turn to visit us at home and with the backing of our home supporters we can beat anyone.
“We are playing an attacking brand of football and the log is still looking good and it will be determined in the second half of the season where men are going to be separated from boys,” added Ntini.
After the win, Triangle are now on 35 points but remain on second place after log leaders Hippo Valley thrashed struggling Ruwa United 7-0 to move on 36 points.
Third-placed Setheo produced one of their best performances of the season after beating other title aspirants Mutare City 4-2 in a thriller at Mucheke. Setheo are tied with Triangle on 35 points but the latter boasts of a superior goal difference and Mutare City remained on fourth place with 30 points.
Meanwhile, the match between Tripple B and Vumbachikwe in the often troubled Central Region was abandoned after Tripple B were awarded a spot kick in the early stages of the match.
