TRIATHLON Zimbabwe are set to hold their first event this coming Sunday at Mount Pleasant Pool in Harare for the 2021-2022 season.
With sport allowed to resume activities subject to meeting the Covid-19 protocols, it just came at the right time for triathlon since their season usually runs from September to April.
The national association announced the development on their website and Sunday’s event gives athletes a platform to prepare for the Troutbeck event scheduled for September 25.
“At last!!! Our first event at Mount Pleasant for the 2021-2022 season – feels like a lifetime ago since we had our last event.
“This is a great opportunity to get some training in before the Troutbeck event on 25th September,” posted Triathlon Zimbabwe on their website.
Online registration is already open and start times will be published soon.
