Trio steals US$4 500 from bank

POLICE in Gweru are investigating a case of theft that occurred at a local bank on Friday at around 2:50 PM in which three unidentified male suspects confronted a bank teller purporting to be looking for US$100 with stars printed on them.

National Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the suspects took advantage of the bank teller who was busy looking for the said notes and stole US$4 500.
