MOST of the Hwange Power Station units that experienced disturbances on Wednesday morning have been restored to normal service, Zesa said in a statement yesterday.
The station tripped after a transmission fault and Zesa had to fix the fault then bring each unit back separately.
“Further to our earlier notice about the system disturbance on the national grid, ZESA Holdings would like to advise its valued stakeholders that most of the units at Hwange Power Station have been restored to service.
“This will result in an improvement on the magnitude of load curtailment,” read the statement.
