A funeral service for Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Senegal Mrs Trudy Stevenson will be held tomorrow at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church in Mt Pleasant, Harare.

The church service starts at 10am followed by a private cremation.
In an interview yesterday, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Mr Gideon Gapare confirmed the development.

He said Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Dr Sibusiso Moyo is expected to attend the service.
“The service will be held at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church for those who would like to attend,” said Mr Gapare.

“The church is along Pendennis Road (21 Pendennis Road, corner Pendennis Road/The Chase). We expect the minister to be there leading the Government entourage.” Ambassador Stevenson’s remains arrived in the country on Monday night.
She was found dead at her residence in Dakar on August 24.
