THE annual Trysupps Mr and Ms Novice contest will return at the Harare College of Music with several top bodybuilders expected to turn up this Saturday.
Mr and Ms Novice is the first competition of the year and it usually brings together athletes who have not taken to the stage before. The contest is expected to have several athletes taking part in the senior men bodybuilding, junior men bodybuilding and bikini fitness mode, among several others.
Tino Ryan Gumbo, one of the event’s sponsors through his Trysupps Supplements, will be supporting the contest and is of the opinion that young athletes coming on board have the potential to do well.
Gumbo, who won the Arnolds Classic Men’s Physique, is hopeful that the event will be a successs as many athletes have showed interest.
“I am very happy with the way we have managed to hold this event in the past and I hope this year will be no exceptional. The turnout will be good as we have managed to attract athletes from all the provinces across the country who are inquiring through our team.
“We are grateful to everyone who came on board to support us and made sure that we will successfully host the contest. As TrySupps, we are happy to have managed to host the first tournament of the 2022 season and we are also looking forward to host this year’s edition,” said Gumbo.
