Renowned Zimbabwean football coach Cosmas “Tsano” Zulu has decided to part ways with his vintage Hohner Bravo accordion music instrument, which he acquired over 30 years ago as an antique for his grandchildren. Passionate about nurturing young musicians, Zulu aims to inspire and support the next generation of musical talents by selling the cherished harmonica.

Known for its exceptional sound quality and a unique feature of a built-in lifetime battery, Zulu described the instrument as a remarkable find.

“Despite its age, the harmonica produces a powerful sound that can be heard from a distance,” Tsano said.

The Hohner Bravo accordion holds sentimental value for Tsano. As an avid collector of antiques for his grandchildren, he hopes to raise funds by selling the harmonica to support his collection and encourage budding musicians.

“I enjoy collecting antiques for my grandchildren, and since none of my children are interested in music, I decided to sell this Hohner harmonica to raise funds for other items,” he said.

Highlighting the versatility of the Hohner Bravo accordion, Zulu emphasised its ability to be used across all genres of music. He noted that this particular instrument predates modern pianos, offering the advantage of portability that contemporary pianos lack.

The instrument is being sold at an outlet along 9th Ave that sells musical instruments in Bulawayo.

Zulu’s passion for collecting extends beyond musical instruments, turning his home into a museum with various artifacts from different eras, including old currency, typewriters, staplers, punchers, and more. _@TashaMutsiba.
