NEW: TSCZ to tighten traffic regulations

Online Reporter

THE Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe (TSCZ) says it will tighten traffic regulations during the festive season to save lives.

Addressing journalists in Harare, the Board Chairman for TSCZ Mr Kura Sibanda said TSCZ will not tolerate road abusers this festive season.

“We cannot continue to tolerate reckless driving and the movement of vehicles that are not roadworthy and poorly serviced,” he said.

“The government through enforcers will this year render penalties to all road abusers.”

He added that it must be the responsibility of every Zimbabwean citizen to drive safely during the festive season.
