TTI marshals harass motorists

Editor — I am compelled to express my concerns regarding the operations of Tendy Three Investments in Bulawayo, specifically the conduct of their marshals. While the company’s efforts to provide parking solutions are commendable, their enforcement methods leave much to be desired.

The marshals employed by Tendy Three Investments have been observed to be overly aggressive and confrontational in their approach. They seem to take pleasure in harassing motorists, often using intimidation tactics to extract fines. This behaviour is unacceptable and creates a hostile environment for residents and visitors alike.

Furthermore, the marshals appear to be inconsistent in their application of rules, often targeting specific individuals or vehicles while ignoring others. This selective enforcement raises questions about the company’s motives and whether they are truly committed to ensuring public safety or simply focused on generating revenue.

Additionally, the marshals’ lack of transparency and accountability is alarming. They fail to provide clear explanations for their actions, and their demands for payment are often accompanied by threats of arrest or further action. This unprofessional conduct erodes trust in the company and undermines their authority.

I urge Tendy Three Investments to address these concerns by retraining their marshals to adopt a more courteous and professional approach. The company must ensure that their enforcement methods prioritise public safety and respect the rights of motorists. Transparency and accountability must be paramount to maintain the trust of the community they serve.
