Tuku’s publicist Shepherd Mutamba yesterday confirmed the Todii hitmaker had been forced to slow down due to exhaustion but had fully recovered and geared up for his upcoming shows.
“Tuku is diabetic and from time to time the condition causes severe exhaustion.
“On Saturday he performed in the afternoon but could not do the evening show and Sunday’s gig as he needed to rest.
“He is fine now and in the office working.
“On Friday he will be in Mabvuku and Sunday he performs in Chitungwiza before heading to Kenya,” Mutamba said.
He, however, apologised to fans and event managers for missing the shows saying they would make it up for them.
The no-show sent gig promoters into a panic mode and speculation was rife in the media over Tuku’s illness.
