Tuku, Stunner date Bulawayo fans

Local artistes are set to share the stage with legendary Tuku in a show set to be a mixture of the old and the new.
The show would also give Bulawayo based artistes an opportunity to perform before a broad audience and alongside renowned artistes.
In an interview, director of Hardcore World Entertainment, Tichaona “Tich” Maviyo, said the forthcoming attraction was an initiative to sustain the industry.
“The main idea behind giving local artistes an opportunity to perform alongside iconic Tuku and Stunner is to create an industry that is sustainable.

“In as much as the show would be mainly focused on the two big names in the entertainment industry, this would also be an opportunity for locally based groups to showcase what they have to offer before a wide audience,” Maviyo said.
Groups to take part in the show include Electric Vibes, a group that hails from Makokoba, Tee Pie and Ndolwane Super Sounds.
The show would be the first for the superstar this year, as his last performance in the city was in September last year.

In an interview, Tuku’s spokesman Sam Mataure said they were geared up for a very good and polished show.
“We are urging people of Bulawayo to come for a good show with us,” he said.
Maviyo said tickets would be sold two days before the show.
“Tickets will be issued out two days before the show and VIPs are in for a treat as they will be privileged to be seated on the balcony. The VIPs will also have access to the English Bar,” he said.

In September, Tuku gave a top class performance at the same venue and the superstar seems to have defied age if his spirited performances are anything to go by.
On the other hand, Stunner who has wowed fans with his urban grooves music is set to give a performance of his life. The Godo hitmaker has bagged several accolades in the urban grooves genre at a number of  National Arts Merit Awards.
