“MAKE your home beautiful and sophisticated by using quality, environmentally friendly products that are not harmful to you and your family,” said Miss Jenna Booth, tupperware sales manager.
Miss Booth explained that original tupperware products are not harmful as they are free from BPA (Bisphenol A) which is a harmful hormone-disrupting chemical that leaches into food items after repeated use.
She said there are various items that homeowners can select from to make their homes chic this winter.
“This winter there is an insulated oval server that comes in different colours. The good thing about this item is that it is not only for decorative purposes but it also keeps your food warm, be it soups, curry and stew,” said Miss Booth.
She added that the insulated oval server can help keep your food warm for 30 to 45 minutes, provided it is closed properly since it has a vent that should be closed in order to keep the food warm so that it is water and air-tight.
“It is also paired up with the Imbizo bowl. These bowls can be used to serve different contents even if they are not from the insulated oval server. The contents can be cereals, salad and dessert,” said Miss Booth.
However, she said the insulated oval server is not microwave friendly except for warming or reheating purposes.
Miss Booth also the suggested microwave fast cooker . . . the speed of the microwave combined with a fast cooker will take 20 minutes only.
“The fast cooker makes your home look beautiful and at the same time it makes life easy for homeowners who are always busy.
“It is a microwave pressure cooker that cooks things faster than a stove, after 20 minutes your stew or whatever you want will be ready hence giving you more spare time for other things,” she explained.
Miss Booth said tupperware tends to change colours more often so that the market cannot keep up with them especially those who like to replicate their products.
“The reason for changing the colours so often is so that the replica products cannot keep up with the tupperware. She said they have different colours to suit different home themes and they tend to change them often,” she said.
“The replica products quality may be terrible but it looks exactly like the original tupperware. There is a tupperware trademark and every tupperware product has a unique code for each,” she advised homeowners.
