Two Harare men who allegedly raped a 28-year-old woman after misrepre-senting to her that they were taking her to a prospective employer appea-red in court yesterday.
Tawanda Mlambo (23) of 4118 Twiza Road in Tynwald and Admire Saini (22) of 46 Gwababa Crescent in Mabvuku were not asked to plead when they appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Don Ndirowei who remanded them to March 4. The State, led by prosecutor Ms Memory Chidavaenzi, alleges that on February 18 the pair met the complainant in Mbare and informed her that Mlambo had an aunt in Waterfalls who needed a house maid. It is alleged they offered to accompany her to Waterfalls but instead took her to a place in Mbare where they took turns to rape her. -CR.
