Matabeleland South police spokesperson Inspector Philisani Ndebele said the accident occurred at about 7.10 am.
“The driver Brian Lunga (34), of 9242 Glenkara in Bulawayo was driving towards Plumtree when on reaching the peg, the right tyre burst and the vehicle overturned and rolled several times. Two people were killed in the accident while 12 were injured,” said Insp Ndebele.
