THE Under-20 men’s handball side regrouped on Monday for their final camp ahead of their departure for the African Junior Men’s Championship in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The championship will run from September 5 to 12.
The 17-member provisional squad trooped into camp at Highfield High School on Monday.
“We checked in on Monday evening. Yesterday (Tuesday), we were doing fitness tests on the team, and today we are focusing on conditioning,” said coach Tafadzwa Madure.
The technical team is expected to finalise the 14-member travelling squad at the end of this week.
The camp will run until the team’s departure.
