Nairobi. — President Uhuru Kenyatta will not make changes to KDF leadership, not yet at-least, despite the calamity killing of over 60 soldiers in an attack in Somalia.

According to sources privy to the President, he is happy with the KDF leadership led by Chief of Defence Forces General Samson Mwathethe.

He is also at the moment not keen to push for changes to the command in Somalia following the huge loss.

Kenya is expected to suffer huge losses, with some reports stating that as many as 100 soldiers might have died in the attack on their base in Al Adde Somalia last Friday by Al Shabaab militants. — AFP.
