Umjolo is a jungle. Luckily, Bra Binzy has the map

UNCLE OR UNCLE BAE?

Dear Bra Binzy

I’m an engineer who got laid off work in 2020 and have been struggling to make ends meet. My wife’s uncle who often visits and stays for days has been a great help as he finds piece jobs for me and occasionally pays school fees for our twin daughters aged 10.

My problem is that I stumbled on suspicious messages on my wife’s phone with her uncle. I think they are lovers. When I asked her sisters about the uncle, they were strangely evasive. I think this guy is not her relative at all. I’m beginning to see similarities between him and our daughters.

What can I do to solve this mess?

Bra Binzy response: Eish, my guy, this one is hotter than a pot of isitshwala left on high heat! First things first — don’t confront when you’re angry or half-sure. Evidence is king. If you go in guns blazing and miss the target, you’ll burn the whole homestead and have no roof to crawl back under.

Do some quiet digging. Check school records, family pics, and even your daughters’ birth certificates if you can. If there’s truly no trace of this “uncle,” then you already have your answer.

Now, about the lookalike vibes — don’t go comparing foreheads and dimples like CSI: Magwegwe. DNA tests exist for a reason. If you want peace of mind, save up and do one discreetly.

Whatever the outcome, plan your moves like a chess master, not a drunk draughts player. If your worst suspicions are true, you’ll need proof, a calm head, and maybe a good lawyer before you flip the table.

For now, keep smiling, keep watching, and keep your cards close to your chest.

BUMPS BLUES

Dear Bra Binzy

I have 3 huge embarrassing pimples on my privates. I’ve had them for as long as I can remember and I’m very self-conscious about them.

I can’t make love with my boyfriend during the day or when the lights are on at night because I’m afraid he might see them and think they’re an STI and dump me.

I’ve seen a gynae about this and the situation has not improved. My boyfriend is always enthusiastic about going down on me and I think I would enjoy it but I can’t let him.

Please help me to get rid of this curse.

— Nompilo (Byo)

Bra Binzy response: Haa, sis, you’ve turned your bedroom into a haunted house over three “pimples!” Listen, most men are so excited to be invited to the party, they won’t even notice the tablecloth. Your man is clearly into you — he’s not carrying a microscope to bed!

Since you’ve already seen a gynae and it’s not an STI, it’s time to accept yourself. Sometimes our bodies just have quirks — like stretch marks, extra toes, or that one auntie who sings off-key at funerals.

Here’s what you do:

ν Groom well, keep things clean, and maybe try some natural remedies like aloe vera for confidence.

ν When the lights are on, own it! His reaction will likely be, “Wow, okay,” and back to business.

ν If it still bothers you, seek a second medical opinion.

Stop hiding like a thief in your own bed. Girl, your man is ready to worship you — let him!

STOLEN LOVE, STOLEN MONEY

Dear Bra Binzy

I stole money from my husband and bought a car. I thought he was being stingy when he told me he was broke. He thought his drunkard brother took the money.

It turns out he had taken a loan from a bank to get medical treatment for his mother, whose condition is deteriorating fast.

Now everyone in his family is fighting his innocent brother and they have chased him out of the house.

I feel so bad and I can’t even drive the car anymore. How do I set this right without losing my loving man? If his mother dies or anything happens to his brother, I won’t be able to live with myself.

Bra Binzy Response:

Yho! You’ve cooked a stew so hot even Satan would ask for ice cubes! You didn’t just steal money — you stole trust, peace, and family unity.

The only way out is through. First, return the car. Sell it, hide it, or trade it for cash — whatever it takes. Then set the record straight before your husband’s brother gets seriously hurt or the mother passes away.

Confession will hurt like a dentist visit without anaesthesia, but silence will destroy everything forever. Start with your husband privately. Tell him what happened, cry if you must, and own every bit of it.

Remember, this isn’t just about the car — it’s about saving a man’s relationship with his brother and giving his mother peace.

One thing about lies: they grow teeth. Kill this one before it bites everyone you love.
