BULAWAYO residents will soon have the opportunity to enjoy traditional meals through a unique drive-through service set to launch at Alpha Grill restaurant in Belmont on November 16.
In an interview, marketing manager Mzobanzi Mlauzi shared details about the upcoming launch, which will feature performances from local artistes.
“Alpha Grill will introduce a drive-through on November 16, offering a menu that includes traditional and grilled dishes, which has never been done before in the area,” Mlauzi explained.
“The launch will include entertainment from various groups and traditional dance ensembles.”
The new drive-through service, Mlauzi said, aims to ease the pressure of dining out and provide a quick option for those on the go.
“No other establishment is serving traditional meals in a drive-through format, making Alpha Grill the first to offer this unique experience,” he added.
“The space will cater to everyone, including those dining in,” Mlauzi said.
Additionally, Alpha Grill is committed to creating a family-friendly environment, with a designated play area for children.
In recent developments, Alpha Grill which recently expanded its space due to high demand, has also begun featuring live entertainment on Saturdays, allowing families to enjoy both food and performances.
Located in an industrial area, the restaurant has been operating since 2010 and has recently gained popularity in the precinct due to renovations that have upgraded its design to a more modern look and its affordable meals.
