United Nations ambassadors arrive in Victoria Falls for familiarisation tour

A nine-member delegation of United Nations ambassadors arrived in Victoria Falls on Monday morning to begin the final leg of their familiarisation tour of Zimbabwe.

The delegation touched down at Victoria Falls International Airport shortly after 10:20 am and was warmly received by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Sheilla Chikomo, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry.The visit commenced on 9 April in Harare.

 

In Victoria Falls, the envoys will tour the Rain Forest, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, and experience local cuisine with dinner at The Boma.

On Tuesday, the ambassadors will embark on a morning game drive in the Zambezi National Park.
Their schedule also includes a farewell dinner before departing for Harare on Wednesday.
