In what could be their last performance this year, one of Bulawayo’s most-talented outfits Ngoma iNgoma will today celebrate Unity Day through a show that will be held at The Smokehouse.
The group’s spokesperson who is also the bass guitarist, Blessing “Stot-Bass” Sitotombe said people should come in their numbers to celebrate Unity Day.
“Ngoma iNgoma is playing at The Smokehouse on Wednesday to celebrate Unity Day. All lead vocalists will be there and this could be our last performance for the year in Bulawayo,” Stot-Bass said.
The Afro-fusion band that signalled its entry onto the showbiz scene with a self-titled nine-track album, Ngoma iNgoma, said they expect to release their second album during the first quarter of next year.
Stot-Bass said the album is now at the last stage of production.
“The album release has been delayed by a few technical challenges but it’s definitely coming out early next year. People should look out for it as we’ll be releasing it with an amazing live show.
“The album has 10 tracks and I can confirm that among the tracks is a feature with Asaph. It’s an amazing piece,” said Stot-Bass. — @mthabisi_mthire
