Faith Moves Mountains with Pauline Matanda
As we enter September, the ninth month of the year, a time that symbolises birth and new beginnings, let us reflect on a powerful biblical truth that can transform our lives and unlock endless possibilities.
In 1 Corinthians 2:16, the Bible asks: “For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise him?”
It then offers the powerful answer: “But we have the mind of Christ.”
Having the mind of Christ means sharing His thoughts, attitudes and values. It is about being like-minded with Jesus, as Philippians 2:5 encourages: “Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.”
This mindset is characterised by a core belief that with God, all things are possible.
To align our thinking with God’s will, we must feed our minds with this truth by reading the Scripture and meditating on it.
As Hebrews 4:12 reminds us, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.”
The mind of Christ believes in changing situations for the good, regardless of the apparent facts. It was a fact that Lazarus was dead, but Jesus commanded: “Lazarus, come out!”
It was a fact that Bartimaeus was blind, but Jesus declared: “Receive your sight!”
It was a fact that the man at the pool of Bethesda had been crippled for 38 years, but Jesus instructed him: “Rise, take up your mat and walk!”
This month, let us embrace the mind of Christ, one of endless possibilities.
Welcome September with anticipation and expectation, believing that God has something new to birth in your life.
Declare that this month will be a time of new dreams, opportunities and breakthroughs because all things are possible in Christ Jesus.
This is a month of divine turnaround, where closed doors can be opened, illnesses can be healed and joy can be restored.
When we think like Jesus, we can live a life of purpose, joy and fulfilment.
May God bless you as you seek to follow in Jesus’ footsteps.
May September be a time of new beginnings and spiritual turnaround for you.
