Zora star Leonard Zhakata has joined the list of musicians who have left music lovers speculating because of the names of their albums. Jah Prayzah has named his album “Mudhara Vachauya” while Suluman Chimbetu calls his upcoming release “Havasi Kutiziva” and many people have concluded that the names apparently suggest each musician is indicating his product is the best. Now LKZee, as Zhakata is fondly known, has revealed his album that will be launched at HICC on Friday is titled “Mutunga Dzose”.

Since the unveiling of the album name “Mutunga Dzose” (Best Fighter) pundits have been questioning if the musician has brought an album that will be cut above the rest.

The musician said the album name has been suggested by fans who had listened to some of the songs at his live shows.

“There are people who have listened to some of the songs at our live shows and they are the ones who suggested the name. In as much as I had my wish, fans are the most important people in my career and I had to respect their wish,” said Zhakata.

He could not say much on the album title saying the title track will say it all. The musician gave a brief about his songs and their themes.

It has songs “Zvine Mwaka”, “Moyo Wekutenda”, “Wauya Neyi”, “Mutunga Dzose”, “Kuzvarwa Kwemutumwa”, “Tsvimbo” and “Soulmate”.

“Zvine Mwaka” is a song that reminds people that everything has its own season and people should accept that things get tough even in business but everything has its time while “Mwoyo Wekutenda” encourages people to be thankful to those who have assisted them.

On the track “Wauya Neyi” the musician ask what people have brought to the Lord while “Kuzvarwa Kwe Mutumwa” tells people about the roles they play in life that can assist others.

“Soulmate” is a song that shows the importance of love and the musician reminds people that God is the one who appoints leaders on song “Tsvimbo Yeumambo”.

The musician said he has done his homework and he will leave everything to his fans.

“People will be surprised by this product and that is why we are not saying much about it for now,” he said.

This publication understands that he has worked with award winning producer Oskid on some of the songs and dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu features on one of the songs.

A massive album launch has been lined up at the Harare International Conference Centre on Friday.

Several musicians that include Alick Macheso, Peter Moyo, Suluman Chimbetu and Tinashe Magacha are set to perform at the event.

Event organiser Cossy Rules said they have done all the groundwork for the launch and people should just expect fireworks as the musician drops a ‘bombshell’.

“He took his time to come up with that album and there was need for us to come up with a massive launch,” he said.

Contrary to Watsapp message that said the street launch has been cancelled the Kadoma businessman said it was going ahead and people should come in their numbers to support the great works by Zhakata.
