Fifty people were injured when the driver of a Greyhound bus they were travelling in lost control resulting in the bus overturning in the early hours of today near Luis Trichardt town in South Africa’s Limpopo province.

The bus was coming from Johannesburg headed for Bulawayo.

Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Moatse Ngoape said doctors are still assessing the nature of injuries at Luis Trichardt Memorial Hospital.

“Most of the passengers are Zimbabweans though further verifications are underway. Some were seriously injured while others have minor wounds,” he said Col Ngoepe said no deaths were reported.
