What crime on earth did Zimbabwe commit against the United States?
We are not fools. We are not dim wits. The United States has never been our friend. It will never be. Like elders with cotton tuft hair would put it back in my village, we must never expect honey from a fly. Let us expect the fetid stuff.
Instead of applauding Zimbabwe for making commendable efforts to clear its debt arrears with the international community, the US has sought to sabotage the whole process. And, the reason for the walk out, is a straightjacket regime change: opposition leader Nelson Chamisa should have won the August 2023 elections, for Zimbabwe to be considered a US friend.
It is all crass politics, where the US wants ZANU PF out of power at all costs and replace it with a puppet opposition it is has created, configured and reconfigured again and again, again and again, and again and again without success. Again!
The US, through its embassy in Harare, has announced its withdrawal from Zimbabwe’s Debt Recovery project in protest of its preferred candidate Chamisa losing the elections. What crass?
This is brazen regime change, clear bullying and blatant disregard of the sovereignty of Zimbabwe. This is big brother mentality and clear economic sabotage. History will judge one US leader after another for making the people of Zimbabwe suffer through illegal economic sanctions and political chicanery.
Zimbabwe, in arrears on servicing its debts, is engaging development partners to clear outstanding amounts to multilateral development institutions, including the African Development Bank (AfDB), the World Bank, and the European Investment Bank. This should be good news to all progressive people, organisations and nations.
Now the US which participated in the initial stages has announced it’s withdrawal, in a move meant to tarnish the credibility of the debt clearance process. How has Chamisa become so important to the US that it withdraws from an international process because Chamisa lost the election in August last year?
Why does the US want Zimbabwe not to pay its debtors at the expense of Chamisa? How does Chamisa feel when his name is used by foreigners to sabotage the economy of his country? I mean, how exactly? I would personally feel stupid and useless.
While the Biden administration might think it is doing good for him, poor Chamisa must be ashamed to be used as pawn to destroy his own country.
Chamisa has been weaponised against his own country and, if I were him, I would quickly dissociate from US politics of hate and bullying of smaller nations.
Back in my village, they say beat a child and the father appears! Say that to Chamisa and Biden.
Anyone who tries to convince me that the US wants Zimbabwe’s economy to prosper and its people to live well, might as well convince me that my grandmother who gave birth to my father and his 10 siblings is still a virgin.
The withdrawal of the US, is clear testimony of how Washington has crafted Zimbabwe’s economic troubles and still wishes to destroy it totally.
Suffice it to say, the US has since 2001 cruelly and relentlessly tried to bring down Zimbabwe through an orchestrated economic attack anchored by ZIDERA.
Never be lied to, the US does not want Zimbabwe to prosper and neither does it want any other economy in the world to prosper.
This withdrawal is a typical attack on Zimbabwe.
It is brazen crass.
That is shameful and exposes the Biden administration’s rabid pursuit of regime change in Zimbabwe and everywhere else including Russia.
For starters, Zimbabwe’s economy was damaged to where it is today because of the illegal sanctions imposed by the same US and its allies in the European Union, albeit under different administrations.
The US has lost all moral ground to stand up against any nation in terms of human rights abuse, rule of law, good governance or respect of other nations, among other moral fabrics.
It means, and simply so, that the US wants Zimbabwe not to pay its debts and even relate well with other countries and landing institutions until its preferred candidate, Chamisa goes into power.
But the US is not only bullying little Zimbabwe, it has tried to do the same bullying to Russia and China, among many countries and has used illegal sanctions to bully everyone.
We know that the Biden administration is the most corrupt and dangerous leadership that has no heart.
The US wants little Zimbabwe to suffocate economically and to remain isolated from the world until they put their puppet government in place.
The Biden administration wants Russia razed from earth. They want China razed from earth. They want Palestinians wiped from mother earth. These are vampires of our time. The US is the axis of evil. They want to run the world and become everyone’s boss.
The Gaza genocide at the hands of Biden’s ally Benjamin Netanyahu, should have made Biden realise he has failed humanity.
The billions of dollars of US taxpayers money Biden poured into Ukraine at the expense of poor people in his country, should at least have made him feel bad. But here is a man without a heart, a man without good leadership qualities. A cruel man who would rather have millions of Zimbabweans suffer from international isolation until his puppet Chamisa goes into power.
Biden would rather have all Palestinians wiped out in Gaza because he does not see reason in having a decent and respectable state of Palestine. Despite all those killings, Biden shows no mercy. It seems Biden does not see Palestinians as people.
Biden, Biden, Biden! Of all the world leaders Biden has no iota of morality to challenge Zimbabwe’s election process, given what he is a doing in a desperate attempt to shut out Donald Trump from the 2024 elections.
Biden would rather have Ukraine go to war with Russia, simply because Zelenskyy must remain in power and protect his son Hunter and close family members from corrupt deals. Then Biden would blame Russia. What is that?
Biden would rather have the middle class of America drown in poverty and invest in senseless wars and not in their welfare. This Biden, would rather not have his own people enjoy life after pensionable age, by putting policies that promote his war monger antics. Statistics have shown more Americans getting poorer under Biden than any other leader.
Zimbabwe deserves a rest from US shenanigans. Zimbabwe needs to move forward and pay its debts and become good friends with everyone. Zimbabwe needs support and not sanctions in the same manner Palestinians need peace and their state, than Israeli genocide.
Zimbabwe is tired of US interference in its internal matters and opposition leaders like Chamisa must not feel important when they are used as pawns to fight their own country by the US and its allies. It is a shame. A real shame for Chamisa to be in the mix with Biden on matters that deter the country’s prosperity.
