Priscilla Mutsawu was arrested after the robbers queried the value of the property they were alleged to have looted during the heist at Econet’s Budiriro premises on October 2.
Initially Mutsawu, who is a shop steward, represented Econet in the robbery case.
However, investigations indicated she stole the airtime two days before the robbery and then tried to attribute the loss to the gang, Harare magistrate Mr Morgan Nemadire heard yesterday.
