US$50 000 dividend to Axia Employee Trust (Private) Limited

 The Victoria Falls Stock Exchange listed  Axia Corporation Limited  board has   declared a US$50 000 interim dividend to the Axia Employee Trust (Private) Limited and a US18 cents dividend per share.

 The 18 cents dividend is in respect of all ordinary shares of the company.

“The Board has declared an interim dividend of US$0.018 (0.18 US cents) per share in respect of all ordinary shares of the Company. The dividend is payable in respect of the interim period ended 31 December 2022 and will be paid in full to all ordinary shareholders of the Company registered at close of business on the 21st of April 2023.

“The payment of this dividend will take place on or around the 28th of April 2023. The shares of the Company will be traded cum-dividend on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange up to the 17th of April 2023 and ex-dividend as from the 19th of April 2023,” it said in a statement.

The firm added that the board has also declared an interim dividend totalling US$50,000 to the Axia Employee Trust (Private) Limited.

The dividend is expected to be paid on or around 21  April.

The retail and specialty distribution group, recently listed on the  VFEX to become the 10th counter on the United States dollar denominated bourse.
