Van Persie’s injury fears

LONDON. – Louis van Gaal signed Radamel Falcao because he fears Robin van Persie is facing a lengthy injury lay-off.
Van Persie could even need surgery on a troublesome injury to his left knee which would rule him out for months. That is the real reason behind Manchester United’s move for Colombian superstar Falcao who is set to move to Old Trafford in a £16 million one-year loan deal.
The package for Falcao includes a £6 million loan fee and his £200 000-a-week wages .– The Mirror.
