It will always be a day to remember for children from Vatal Junior School in Msasa Park who took to the ramp last Saturday in the Mr and Mrs Vatal modelling competition.
The contest attracted both parents and other interested parties who watched while the children confidently demonstrated their skills in modelling.
More than 60 boys and girls participated in the modelling competition, in a move meant to instil confidence and open up career options for the kids.
And the competition was tight as all the competitors were good at the game.
In the Mr Vatal Junior boys category, Godfrey Sami took the title, while Anopaishe Chikova came out the first prince, with Ackim Maida the second prince. In the Mr Vatal Senior category, Tashinga Kwangware was crowned the King, while Tinotenda Honde and Sterbylodge Gatsi became the first and second princes respectively.
The Miss Vatal Senior title went to Theresa Mukumba, while Melane Svotwa and Glenda Manduna came out first and second princesses respectively.
