Vice President Chiwenga officially commissions PRAZ offices in Bulawayo

VICE President Dr Constantino Chiwenga has arrived at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre and has commissioned the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) offices in Bulawayo.

The commissioning is being done on the sidelines of the 64th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.

The offices are set to service the southern region as PRAZ only had offices in Harare.

The new office is being commissioned as part of the efforts to decentralise services in line with Government’s Devolution agenda.

Vice President Dr Chiwenga, delivered key remarks highlighting the importance of procurement in good corporate governance.

He challenged PRAZ to open provincial offices to enhance service delivery.

The function has ended and the Vice President has moved to the Business conference where he is the guest of honour.
