THE Victoria Falls Carnival is set to make a grand return, with organisers targeting the New Year period for the eagerly anticipated showcase.
The event will run from December 31, 2026, to January 2, 2027. Event organiser Mr Brent Williams confirmed the development to The Chronicle, saying preparations were at an advanced stage to bring the popular fiesta back to the resort city.

“We are still putting in place modalities to bring the grand showcase back to the resort city,” said Mr Williams.
“The carnival has always been a highlight on the national calendar, and we are working tirelessly to ensure its return is bigger and better than ever before.”
Mr Williams also extended an invitation to prospective sponsors to partner the event, saying their support would be crucial in delivering a world-class experience.
“We are calling upon corporates and prospective sponsors to come on board and partner us in making this vision a reality,” he said.

“With their support, we can once again give revellers and tourists an unforgettable experience.”
The Victoria Falls Carnival is one of Zimbabwe’s premier entertainment events, traditionally held over the New Year period.
It features a jam-packed programme of music concerts, and adventure activities, drawing thousands of local and international revellers to the tourism capital.
The event gained popularity for its unique blend of top-drawer performances and the majestic backdrop of the mighty Victoria Falls, cementing its reputation as one of the biggest parties in Southern Africa.
Its return is expected to provide a significant boost to the local tourism and hospitality sector, with hotels, lodges and tour operators set to benefit from increased bookings.
