BAOBAB Primary School of Victoria Falls which is in Bulawayo for the Old Mutual Primary Schools Cricket Tournament that ends on Saturday with finals and semi-finals at the Old Mutual Centre of Excellence is writing it’s on piece of history with an all-female coaching department.

Ngoza Gomani is the head coach and is assisted by a female coach Promise Mangena with a very supportive headmistress Virginia Ncube who at times travels with the team.

“We are so happy that we have exposed our children, they have met with other children so that they get exposed,” said Ncube.

Gomani said the sport is not yet well established in Victoria Falls and Matabeleland North and that they are working hard to change that.

“We are looking forward to taking cricket further in Victoria Falls,” said Gomani on Friday.
