Volumes boosted by SB in Seedco

THE market fell marginally, though volumes were improved. The Industrial index lost 0,12 percent to close at 176.91 points, while the Mining index gained 1,06 percent to close at 73.16 points. The risers were: Zimplow, up 6,67 percent to close at 8c; Innscor added 1,54 percent to close at 66c; and Econet gained 1,45 percent to close at 70c. The fallers were: Starafrica, down 21,05 percent to close at 1,5c; Dairibord fell 15 percent to close at 8,5c; Meikles lost 12,5 percent to close at 14c; BAT dropped 4 percent to close at 1 200c; and NMB fell 2,33 percent to close at 4,2c. The value of trades was $1,377 million, boosted by a SB in Seedco, as well as normal trades in Econet and Delta.
