Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga has called for players in the construction sector to be guided by integrity and ethics.

Speaking at the official opening of the Construction Industry Federation of Zimbabwe (CIFZ) Congress in Masvingo this morning, Dr Chiwenga called for a collective effort in building the Zimbabwean construction industry on the pillars of honesty, hard work and professionalism.

He reminded those attending the congress that all thriving economies worldwide were built through sacrifice and ethical practices.

“We have a shared responsibility to deliver infrastructure that is inclusive, innovative, and sustainable,” said VP Chiwenga.

“Let me emphasise that this partnership must be grounded on ethics, transparency, and purposeful leadership.

“There is need for a collective pledge at this congress – that the Zimbabwean construction industry shall be built on the pillars of honesty, hard work, and professionalism,” said VP Chiwenga.
