Mukudzei Chingwere in Mashava
Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga has made a stop at the Zimbabwe Zhongxin Chrome Smelting Company as part of his ongoing economic tour across the country.
The Vice President is in Masvingo Province this week, following recent visits to Matabeleland South, Matabeleland North, Bulawayo, and the Midlands Provinces.
Yesterday he toured several key economic sites, including the Mutirikwi Hydropower Plant, Sponge Iron Mining and Beneficiation Industries (SIMBI), and infrastructure projects along the Beitbridge-Masvingo Road, as well as Masvingo Provincial Hospital.
Following his visit to the Chrome Smelting Company today, VP Chiwenga is scheduled to continue his tour at Bikita Minerals.
The purpose of the tour is to evaluate the performance of these companies and identify the challenges they are facing to ensure that they effectively contribute to national economic objectives.
