Africa Moyo in MAPUTO
Vice President Kembo Mohadi has paid a courtesy call on Mozambican Prime Minister Maria Benvinda Levy at her offices here.
The two discussed a range of issues, including deepening political and socio-economic relations.
In a brief interview after the courtesy call, VP Mohadi said they spoke about cooperation in agriculture, peace and security, and the need to add value to their God-given mineral resources for the benefit of citizens, among other issues.
From Maputo, VP Mohadi will travel to Chimoio today to assess liberation war shrines there.

After the Chimoio programme, the VP will continue his tour to Vilanculos, where he will assess the Tongogara Cenotaph and Maternity Clinic.
ZANLA Commander General Josiah Magama Tongogara died in a horrific crash on December 26, 1979, in the Vilanculos area.
A clinic is being constructed to help people from the area.
The process of procuring furniture and medication for the clinic is underway, with President Mnangagwa expected to hand over the facility to Mozambicans when it is ready.
