Vice President Kembo Mohadi has arrived at Esigodini Vocational Training Centre in Matabeleland South where he is set to tour the facility.

The facility which was established in 1982 is one of the five vocational training centers in the province.
Vocational training centres in Zimbabwe have been identified as crucial in providing practical skills and education to less advantaged youth, preparing them for the workforce.

They play a crucial role in developing a skilled workforce, contributing to national economic prosperity and social inclusion.
These centers are part of a wider effort to provide technical and vocational education and training in Zimbabwe, which aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to participate in the labor market and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

The government has also focused on vocational training to address unemployment and provide second-chance education for less advantaged youth.
