VICE-PRESIDENT Kembo Mohadi is touring exhibition stands at the ongoing Kuzana Sport and Creative Economy Expo Zimbabwe (SCEEZ) at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Grounds in Bulawayo.

The Vice-President is engaging exhibitors showcasing products, services and innovations from the sport and creative industries at the inaugural expo.

The exhibition seeks to demonstrate the economic potential of sport and the creative industries while connecting businesses, investors, athletes, artists and other stakeholders in line with the country’s Vision 2030 aspirations.

Held under the theme, “KUZANA: Towards Vision 2030 through Sport and Creative Industries”, the event brings together players from different sectors to explore opportunities for investment, employment creation and business growth.

Mohadi was in Bulawayo on Thursday, where he officially opened the Creative Economy Conference, which focused on the commercialisation of Zimbabwe’s arts and cultural industries.

The expo continues today, with exhibitions running alongside a programme that includes a professional boxing tournament scheduled for this evening.

The five-day showcase will culminate in a centenary football clash between Highlanders and Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
