Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko will officially open the 5th edition of the Medical and Health Fair to be held in Harare from September 23 to 25. The event, which will be graced by health advisor in the Office of the President and Cabinet, Dr Timothy Stamps, will provide an opportunity to health services providers to showcase their services.

Addressing journalists in Harare yesterday, organiser of the fair, Mr Shepherd Chakanza, said members of the public would have free medical check-ups during the event.

“We are expecting about 15 000 people to come to the fair and so far 40 exhibitors have confirmed their participation,” said Mr Chakanza. “During the three days people will have a chance to have free health check-ups and health providers will advertise, thereby promoting their products to new customers.”

The fair will run under the theme “Health for all by 2030”.

Exhibitors are going to march in town carrying their banners.

September 24 and 25 will be open to the public.
