Vice President Mujuru was accompanied on the tour by Minister of State in her office Mr Sylvester Nguni, deputy chief secretary to the Office of President and Cabinet Mr Christian Katsande and ZITF board chairman Mr Bhekhitemba Nkomo. She toured the Grain Marketing Board stand before proceeding to the small to medium enterprises stands exhibiting under ZimTrade, where she was shown various hand-made goods.
VP Mujuru then proceeded to the Home Industries Hall where various traditional foods were on display before winding her tour at Hall One which was mainly dominated by exhibitors from China.
In an interview after the tour, VP Mujuru said she was delighted with the quality of exhibits. “I am very much impressed with what we are now beginning to show at our trade fair, the quality is very high. I have not toured a stand which I am not happy with. It is quite encouraging,” she said. – New Ziana.
