Sports Reporter

From the onset the pace that the team set showed the potential of winning gold.

A well maintained lead throughout the tournament with a lot of composure was almost a guarantee for winning.

The team’s fighting spirit can never be overemphasised. They proved to be a worthy opponent throughout all stages of the tournament. While they were on foreign ground, they stood their ground and well represented the Vubachikwe Mine.

Snooker is a well-known game that gives an opportunity to exude composure and skill and the team was well prepared to prove and maintain all these qualities. This team has been outstanding and has won tournaments in Gwanda.

Hopefully opportunities to prove these skills on a bigger stage will be availed to them. Captain Shepherd Moyo led the team to a glorious victory.

Their skill is not only limited to the snooker table. They are a solid team that always excel in their work and represent the organisation with aplomb.

On the table, the team has been very exemplary and on the work front they have been equally befitting in their duties. They have undoubtedly become the pride of the organisation which is of huge benefit as it also shows the well all rounded nature of our workspace.

The team continues to be applauded and encouraged to continue to do this great work and represent the organisation in such a manner.
