Vulindlela Primary School in Bulawayo completes construction, enrolls 1 200 pupils

VULINDLELA Primary School in Cowdray Park, Bulawayo has completed four classroom blocks, a toilet block, and a septic tank that will allow 1 200 pupils to enroll.

According to an update on X by the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works, the institution will help children reduce the distance they walk to school.

“The Ministry is providing technical assistance in the construction of Vulindlela Primary School in Cowdray Park, Bulawayo. 4 classroom blocks, a toilet block & septic tank are now complete allowing the school to enrol 1 200 pupils.

“Before the school was built, some pupils from the suburb used to walk 8 to 10 km to get to the nearest school. Construction is now centered on a double-storey classroom block to allow the school to increase enrolment.”
