The Under-13s played five games and won two matches against Qatar and Ukraine.
On the first day they were successful as they won two games but then fell at the hands of Austria.
Muringani and Mark Jack scored for Zimbabwe in a 2-1 win.
Jack also scored for Zimbabwe in their 1-0 win over Ukraine.
But the Zimbabweans were beaten 0-1 by Austria, 0-2 by Brazil and 0-2 by Switzerland in their last match of the tournament.
Ndlovu said his boys gave it their best shot.
“We lost to Austria when we could have done better, but I am proud of my boys as the matches were very tough but they play well.
“I told the boys that this was they best achievement so they must remain focused and I am sure next time they will do better as the will be more experienced.
“We are going to start working on affiliating this same team soon and we hope that they will be able to maintain this same squad as it can be the most united team if they stick together.
“The boys gave it their best shot and I am happy they enjoyed their match and stay.” said Ndlovu.
The D-juniors from German league club Hertha BSC won the third Volkswagen Junior World Masters tournament.
The team beat Switzerland in the semi-final and went on to win the final against AC Chievo Verona 5-0.
The VW Junior World Master saw 62 matches, 190 goals and featured 368 football players from 22 countries.
Teams from 22 countries took part in the two-day long world final event.
Africa was represented by South Africa and Zimbabwe.
